Who we are
PersonalizedToon (personalizedtoon.com) is operated by Colorverse LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, 30 N Gould St N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. Colorverse LLC is responsible for your personal data.
Privacy contact
For any privacy request or question, email privacy@personalizedtoon.com. We answer within 30 days. For questions about an order or your account, email support@personalizedtoon.com.
What we collect
- Your email address, to send sign-in links and run your account. If you sign in with ChatGPT, we receive your name and email address from OpenAI, and nothing about your ChatGPT use.
- The comments you type and the edited artwork versions, so you can review, undo and order them.
- Order details (name, shipping address, items) when you order, handled by our store platform.
- Technical data to keep the service secure: your IP address, kept for up to an hour to limit sign-in abuse; a one-way hash of your IP address and browser, stored with your sign-in session; and basic logs (time, request, error codes). Your comments are never written to these logs.
- The results of our automated checks that your comments and edits are allowed.
We do not ask you to upload photos.
How we use it
To sign you in, produce and store your edits, fulfil and support your orders, prevent abuse, and keep costs and the service under control.
We do not sell or share your data
We do not sell your personal data and do not share it for advertising. We do not use targeted advertising, and we do not use analytics or advertising trackers.
Who processes it for us
- OpenAI: produces the image edits.
- Anthropic: reads your comment to plan the edit and to check it is allowed.
- Cloudflare: stores the artwork files, sends our emails and serves the domain.
- Hetzner: hosts our servers in the United States.
- Our store platform and its payment provider: checkout and orders. We never see your card number.
- Our print partner: receives the print file of the design you ordered and your shipping address, to make and ship your product.
Where your data is stored
Our servers are hosted by Hetzner in the United States, and files and email go through Cloudflare. The processors above may handle data in the United States and in other countries. If you use the service from outside the United States, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States.
Cookies
We only use cookies the service needs: one keeps you signed in, one protects forms against cross-site attacks, and, if you sign in with ChatGPT, a short-lived one (10 minutes) that completes that sign-in. No analytics or advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
Your edits and comments are kept while your account is open. When you delete your account, sign-in stops immediately and your edits, comments and files are removed by our cleanup process, which runs every hour.
Orders are the exception. If you ordered a design, the exact version you ordered and its print file are kept after you delete your account, together with the order record, for as long as needed to print, ship and support that order (including a reprint under our Refund Policy), and then for up to 5 years to meet our tax and accounting obligations. They are used for nothing else.
Your privacy rights (United States)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- know and access the personal data we hold about you;
- delete your personal data;
- correct data that is wrong;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal data and of targeted advertising. We do none of these, so there is nothing to opt out of.
To use any of these rights, email privacy@personalizedtoon.com, or delete your account yourself at any time from the Account page. We may need to confirm it is you, for example by sending a message to your sign-in email. We answer within 30 days. If you disagree with our answer, you can reply and ask us to review it. We will not treat you differently for using your privacy rights.
Children
The service is for adults (18+) and is not for children under 13. Children may appear in the family artwork you personalize, but we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 or hold accounts for children. If you think a child has given us data, email privacy@personalizedtoon.com and we will delete it.
Changes
We will post any change on this page with a new version and date.
